Hi, I have a 1/2 HP Craftsman garage door opener on my single car garage door. Sometimes when I hit the clicker to close the door, the door travels all the way to the closed position and then it reverses and opens the door. At first, I thought I had to much downward pressure and I turned the down pressure back. As a result, the door did not close all the way down. I continued to bracket the up and down pressure to get my door to work (the difference on where I set the downward pressure dial is very small between the door staying down and the door opening back up). Now, the door only goes back up occasionaly, but I can not figure out why or what is causing the problem since it does not happen all the time. I thought it might be the weather or that my door was uneven. I am hoping someone has some suggestions on how I can fix the problem? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
